Attorneys are the largest specialist group on the platform right now, and the rates are the highest on this site. The work is not practising law: it is judging whether a model's answer about a contract, a filing or a statute is actually right, then rewriting it and saying why the original was wrong. A task might be a redline of a clause, a memo the model drafted, or a question with several candidate answers to rank. Postings name practice areas — corporate and M&A, litigation, bankruptcy, compliance, immigration, family, criminal defence, intellectual property — and several ask specifically for BigLaw experience or current practice. The skills listed most often are contract drafting, redlining, negotiation, legal research and legal writing. What is being judged is whether your reasoning survives another lawyer reading it.
