AI training jobs for engineers
Mechanical, electrical, materials, civil and aerospace engineers are asked for the same two things: problems with worked solutions, and honest grading of a model's attempt at them. The postings are specific about the subject — aerodynamics, CFD, circuit design, semiconductor devices and microelectronics, materials science — and several list Python, because the task includes checking the code that runs the calculation. A typical piece of work is a question, a model's derivation, and your judgement on each step: where the physics is sound, where a unit slipped, where the answer is plausible and wrong. That last case is the valuable one, and the reason a qualified engineer is doing this rather than a generalist. None of these listings asks for an AI background. Remote, hourly, contract, and the engineering has to be right. Pay is whatever each posting lists.
